What Forever Looks Like

The last couple of days

Hey there!

The last couple of days have been pretty busy! Work so far is going pretty well. Who woulda' thought I was such a fast learner!

Further, I work this weekend 4-9pm and in the following weeks my 8 hr days will begin.

Meanwhile,

Before work at 4, I have been going with Kevin to his dad's property to care for the animals and work on staining their new house.

I took some pictures to share.

Yesterday I did not work, and I spent the half of the day with the farm and the rest of the day at home. Here are some pictures of my day spent during the rain.

I enjoyed some chocolate milk, in the most appropriate glass I own ;)

These peaches I picked fresh right off the tree

I also picked these plums, though I don't think I'll eat them. They were mushier than I would normally prefer.

And with the whole house lit with apple smelling candles, I was comfy and content.

Later in the evening, Kevin and I went to the local county fair "Spencer Picnic" as it was firework night (if the rain stopped...and it did). We also always go to catch up with others and for a couple of rounds of bingo. We didn't win, but it was great catching up with just about everyone!

Today I just have been lazing around the house, doing a little laundry and watching gossip girl. Work comes around at 4, but a have an errand to run first and that will sum up the rest of my day.

Hi, my name is Franee and I am a spa attendant!

Today was my first training session at my new job. It went really well and I caught on fast! I don't think I'll have any real big issues on figuring things out considering I already have an idea.

I must say, it will be a busy job though- especially when I start my 8 hr days.

Dr. Scholls, here I come for your insoles!

I basically am the person who makes the spa look picture perfect.

And I do the laundry of course. haha

But because the atmosphere is so tranquil all the time and the employees reflect that, I can't imagine I'll get too stressed out.

I would absolutely love to take pictures of the spa so I could show everyone, but I'm pretty sure that is not allowed. Oh well....

Anyway, I am dressed and prepared to impress regardless ;)

Another exciting thing happened today. Before work I decided to look through this cute blogging book my sister bought me, and I was able to find a lot of cute and popular blogs to follow :D And further, some of them responded back to me! How cool!One day I'll find something creative and clever to insert in my blog!

Well, its time for this little girl to get all snuggly with her kitty and honey and go to bed :)

Tuesday Snoozeday

Hi,

I'm pretty sure its wayyyy too late to be blogging right now. In fact its tomorrow- which makes my title not necessary.

I slept in this morning. And then I baked. And Baked. AND BAKED. What you ask?

Well...I made blue berry pancakes, then blueberry crumble-top muffins, and then a hearts desire blueberry pie. Can't ya tell I had some blueberries laying around?

Because I had lemons lying around as well..I made homemade old fashion lemonade- which is scrumptious!

And to sum up my night, I baked a homemade chicken pot pie which was flavorful and with the left over chicken I made lemon chicken and rice (My ALLTIMEFAVORITE dish- so you betcha it was great).

By the time 3:00 rolled around...I was like: "what happened to my day?"

I think I decided to be a suzy homemaker today because I was trying to patiently wait for a callback from my interview yesterday. Just when it seemed like it would never happen...I got the call!

And excitingly enough...I GOT THE JOB (at the spa!) :)

Not onlyyyy thattt....The manager even offered me full time hours! She is the sweetest person I have ever met thus far and I am so grateful she was so willing to help me out. I need money BADDD.

Therefore I had to decline the winery politely. Which I felt bad about but hey- this is a world where one has got to fend for themselves.

So yeahhh...I start training tomorrow! Canyabelieveit!? I am very excited.

After the call, I did all the farm chores as usual and ran to the mall and TJ Max to find some black t-shirts.

I cannot even begin to tell you how difficult it was to find a basic black t-shirt for a good price. Apparently...they are not in season. But I was able to find 3. Thank goodness- since they are part of my uniform.

Anyway, that was my day. It was long and I'm exhausted.

Since I don't go in until 4 for training tomorrow, I'm helping Kevin continue to stain the house.

Which isn't that fun, but I'm looking forward to it because its suppose to be 84 and zero rain which sounds fabulous to me. :D

Nothing but a rainy day

Hi! Welcome!

Its Monday. This is my first blog post... again....

This whole blog thing has never been my thing. But, I keep coming back to it. I've tried being whimsical, then I tried tying wedding related information into it, and then I settled with describing my degree. All terrible stuff.

So this time I'm just gonna be real and only human.

My sister just discovered she has 1000 followers :D so that tells me someone has got to be interested in reading my rambles.

Of course she's excelling with her jewelry design, and people love it so they buy it...which allows her blog to become so popular. She's so great! :D

I am just a 21 year old who just graduated from college, with a degree in communication studies.

I don't make jewelry because its really hard.

I can't sew...because its really hard.

And I am not aspiring in anything as of this very moment.

But I do have a degree basically in people, so that could help me get my foot in the door.

Anyway, it was an awfully rainy day today. Same as yesterday. And the day before.
I do have good news however. I had a job interview today at a spa, and I think its quite promising :)

I am also considering a position at a winery. What a fun pair of jobs to work at if I get both jobs!

Since I was up at 6:30am this morning to feed 20 chickens, 14 cats, 4 pigs, 3 horses, 2 dogs, and 2 ducks... i'm off to bed.
