Jumping back into the scene

Its been some time since i have decided to blog. Wasnt feeling it.
Recently got a new camera! Sanyo-RED and 12.1 Mega Pixels! TWELVE.ONE. I absolutely love it! That being said, i have been taking pictures galore!
I snapped a great pic of my mother and myself, right before we were off to "fabric shop" Where tooo much money was spent on cloth!
The camera was set on some different setting which gave the picture a airy fading kind of fading look. Still turned out nice though.

This is my chick. Nameless. (kinda hard to name a chicken whose gender you are unaware of...so i call it chicken.) i took this picture today. Outside in the grass. Its so cute, the chicken i mean.. because everytime i walked away it would run after me, like i was it's mother. which could be both cute and bad. haha These pictures were too cute to not post so i had to.

Really starting to wish that the warm weather would come back, instead of these intimidating rain clouds. it does not make things very much fun. Its suppose to be summer time, so i can lay out in it and get hot enough to go swimming.

Rosie's, mama kitty, kittens are getting to the adventurous stage! they are so cute! I try and pick them up. Some don't complain -especially if you grab em when they are sleeping. (its probably because they are confused.) Well anyway, they are getting to the point where they are starting to wander everywhere and crying when they have climbed up too high. its easy to see that rosie is annoyed and ready for them to take care of themselves.

Well today, i thought of something cute, and i happened to grab the kitten while it was sleeping. it woke up but was out of it and did not make a peep. I took a picture of my wondrous idea. :)

I don't have to work and everyone else had to. Hmm... maybe i will nap? or paint my nails. Doesnt look too nice outside.
eh, ill go with the flow. Feeling lazy.

Good Morning,
I started the day with a shower, and cleaning up the house. Fun stuff i gotta tell ya. Well at least i'm getting good at cleaning, also it helps me realize that i hate messes so much, my house will never look like that. Good thing.
Not doing a whole lot today. Probably writing down a list of things i will need for the house, now the image is fresh in my head. It's alot smaller and different than i remember, probably because when i saw it there was the previous tenant's stuff in it. It's still cute.

Yesterday Kevin and i went up to the house to pay the rent and start moving some stuff in. It was fun. I noticed that i have enough drinking glasses and pitchers, bowls and plates. the cupboards were stuffed. Which is a good thing. But other than that we looked at where outlets are and where we could put things. And there was leftover paint that the girl saved for me in case i wanted to touch some things up, however its not a huge amount left over. The living room was good, along with the kitchen. The bedroom could use a little but of touch up, but i would like to paint the bathroom a different color and the porch. i was thinking light pale blue for the bathroom and little pale yellow for the porch. We will see how that works out though.

But not too much planned for today, didnt have to work. Tomorrow, wednesday and thursday i do. which means money! :) haha But i guess there is not a whole lot to blog about today, maybe i will tomorrow if something exciting happens.

Shopped out: Time to Clock Out

It's safe to say i had a fun day, a very busy one, but at least i was distracted and not bored. After blogging this morning, i showered and shoved a granola bar in my mouth and was off the to mall with travis. We shopped in pac sun- since everything trav buys has to have "fox" brand on it. Therefore: we found a cute fox purse and 3 fox tanks for his girlfriend for her party. The overall price was not bad either and because he spend 40$ he recieved a $20 gift card to spend on top of that! Lucky. So we were on our way out of the mall headed back home when straight ahead i saw it. Boxes and boxes of books outside of borders, with a $1 ticketed price on them! Anything with a blue sticker, the book was a dollar! i was sooooo excited that i ran over to the boxes and started my search. Poor trav-heh ohhhh wellll.. I found a lot of good books too! ones that i would read! and the best part is 5 of them were wedding ones or involving wedding and or love! Super estatic about that! So i got them. 9 books=$9. Saaawheeet!

Then we left for home, trav dropped me off at home and headed to his birthday party for his little lady. I looked over my books, called my mother and decided i was going to head down her way (she was holding a yard sale for the day) and waste time til 4 rolled around for me to see hannah! So i did, but i made a few pit stops at yardsales where i found a crockpot slowcooker for one dollar! great shape, a red checkered table cloth, a door hanging thing, a free flower vase, a du-rag (for kevin's long mane while he is working) and these cute dressy napkins for the kitchen table. Later yardsales, i found videos and such. (i think thats all) So i visited with mom and gramomma, and sure enough my dad and his girlfriend showed up! It was a surprise to see them but they stopped by and donated some money for the food pantry. (Oh sorry-thats why we were holding a yard sale.) And i showed him my future car ( I HOPE!) its a gold ford focus,2001 with 82,000 miles on it. Not too shabby and it drives so nice and smooth. Dad approved.
As i was getting ready about leaving, i noticed a car that pulled in the driveway- it was my aunt carolyn and uncle buff! My goodness! I have not seem them in years-quite literally-5-6 years! It was so nice to see them! we chit chatted and caught up and hugs were offered everywhere. But here is some background history-a few years back my uncle was diagnosed with alztimers (sp?) and has difficulty remembering much. Well It was a miracle today because he remembered me after all those years! and it was certainly a surprise! He asked me about college and how i was and everything and about my boyfriend and what not! I was sooo amazed he didnt forget! it was such a good feeling.

So i left shortly after, stopping at a few more yard sales and not finding any goodies, and heading home. it was about 3 at this point so i waited around for 4 so i could head on out and meet up with hannah. While wasting time, i found free victoria secret underwear coupons and printed them off to take along! (who couldnt!?)
I arrived and saw hannah! It was so great, while she was finishing up with a customer i walked around and looked at all the pretty flowers only soon to be flooded with questions about lovely they were. Some random guy (40s or so) thought i would be a great person to gossip about the flowers with. Ha it was pretty awkward.

Finally Hannah came to the rescue and off we went to the mall. Where she too bought some books at borders and where i decided to buy more books! (baddddd habit!) i hate bargains sometimes. She also found a cute reddish orange 3 quarters length sleeve shirt at Kohls and an adorable summer dress that i talked her into buying. With the body of a model (seriously! -5ft 8" and super skinny with long legs) she looked too good in it not to buy it. So she did.
We also got our free underwear! but with a pink purchase...guess you really should read the coupons first.. ha the "free" part drew me in. So to make them work we bought underwear and left with 2 pairs each. There werent too many good deals around, we talked alot and caught up on everything which was nice. And we plan on meeting again. WHoO! Starving we ate at friendlys where i ordered a shirley temple (kids version of course!) and the barbeque chicken super cheesy melt on sourdough bread with french fries. Hannah got the same of course! and we finished with happy ending sundaes of mint chocoloate chip ice and forbidden chocolate with kit kat on top. and hannah: peanut butter and chocolate chip ice cream with oreos on top. Well they switched the toppings but it was delicious either way.

So now im home to kevin's, waiting for him to come back from his trip and relaxing. I am exhausted, but i got to drive the car around all day and i think its the one! Now i just gotta sweet talk kevin into buying it for me and his grandpa into giving us a wicked good deal. (im thinking he will regardless).

Well off to think about what to load the truck up with tomorrow to start taking things up to our house in oswego! I'm so excited about moving in. its super cute! its gonna be a long day tomorrow. Gotta pay the first months rent and start moving in. PLus i would like to take a pit stop at the oswego theater and watch "UP" since im dying to see it!

Will keep everything posted (or thats my intention anyway...we will see what happens though).

Another day

Today thankfully the sun is shining, I was getting so tired and depressed by the rain. Not much planned for the day, a kinda lay around day. But i have however made a few plans... i plan on checking the weather and temperature for the day, I will shower in probably a half an hour, get dressed, eat a granola bar, and head to the mall with Travis (My boyfriend's, youngest brother) to buy his girlfriend a present for her birthday today. He didn't want to go alone, so no complaints my way. When we return, i will wait around doing whatever sparks my interest til 5 where i will head back to Ithaca, and meet up with my friend Hannah, who i have not seen since graduation. I am very excited to see her, we will probably go out to dinner. Not sure when i plan on returning, but in the mean time i will be wasting time til 10 pm tonight to wait for Kevin, (my boyfriend) to return home from his trip. Which i am excited to see him as well :)

Well off to get the day started, wish i could find some cereal and milk...

Just A Starter

It's currently 10:05pm and I finally decided on a blog title to call my own. Well i wanted to be unique (of course) and not too original by taking words such as place, blog, world... etc. So i actually went to a thesaurus and typed in (place) to find a creative sounding word: Then i became stuck on 3. Niche. Nook & Cranny. Why? I couldn't tell you. But i stumbled over these words for a good hour before allowing "Into the Nook of Franee" flow off my tongue. But then the controversy was to use Franee (the nickname, or Frances?). Finally i decided on Franee.

I suppose i should give credit to my sister, Lorelei (From Lorelei1141@blogspot.com) for encouraging me to open my own blog. I had considered it out of boredom, but she uses her words well and here i am!

So i suppose i could briefly explain my life to give this whole blogging thing a push.

19 years of age, current student at SUNY Oswego.
August 2008-May 2009 : First year at SUNY Oswego.. freshman year,
With 60 credits along the way-now i am a junior.
I am Communication Studies Major
My passion and dream is to become a Wedding Planner :)
I am intrigued about love, and definitely a romantic. Not to mention i own 10-15 wedding magazines-just trying to get started.

Well off to bed for me: 5:50 in the morning really hits ya about this time.
